"A Day and A Night" Highland Tour
In conjunction with the Community Woodlands Association, te POOKa presents a unique outdoor theatre, music and circus event, A Day & A Night, in community woodlands across the Highlands.
As the title suggests, for a day and a night each woodland will host a festival-style celebration of the diverse aspects of Highland culture, such as traditional music, storytelling, history and folklore, with a special focus on woodland conservation and environmental heritage.
Here at Lochalsh Woodland Park we had a series of workshops involving the local schools, very popular!
On Saturday 29th September we were all surprised when 300 people arrived for a show, at which we had expected 100. Amazing, Wonderful, Cool, Superb, Wow! , were some of the childrens comments.
